Description
The residence, built circa 1845, is a long frame one-and-a-half-story three-bay Federal/Greek Revival house with two end chimneys, single-pile central-hallway, wide entrance with sidelights, interior sheathing of wide flush boards, simple steep stair with two winders at the lower level rising to the half story above, simple balustrade that protects the opening into the cellar, rock-lined cellar with a fireplace laid in one-to-five common bond, and tall sash windows in simple mitered two-part surrounds that were originally shuttered.
