Description

Douglass High School salutatorian, Class of 1966, Patricia A. DeWitt, has curated historical records capturing glimpses of school year histories for what began as Tabor City Negro School. Established in 1915, school year records began with the 1938-1939 school year. The school was later renamed Douglass High School after the esteemed abolitionist and orator Frederick Douglass.
