Description
The Mullet Wrapper is the Ocracoke Preservation Society's biannual
newsletter detailing local events, membership, and preservation efforts. The
publication gets its name from the local practice of using recycled newspaper to
wrap fish in the market. Each issue includes a letter from the society's president,
a list of current registered members, and an assortment of articles centered around
local history. The Spring 2008 issue includes an article on the museum fire, a
celebration of Muzel Bryant, and the success of the Ocrafolk School.
