This report was commissioned by the Wake County government as part of a project implementing emergency medical transportation to the residents of Wake County. This project included hiring paramedics, acquiring ambulances, and coordinating with local hospitals. This report proposes a variety of methods of emergency medical transport and includes a comprehensive estimate of each alternative's cost.
