Description
"Beautiful and entertaining film showing the
nesting or training habits of a variety of species of birds and
animals with their young. Produced by the North Carolina Wildlife
Resources Commission to show natural fauna of North Carolina each in
its native habitat and to stimulate and promote understanding of the
need to restores some species, protect and offer cover to others.
The delightful sequence on the nesting habits of the wood duck is
perhaps unique. Other species seen are muskrats, egrets, deer,
rabbits, turkey, opossum and bear. Winner of Outdoor Writers of
America competition 1965-66." Description taken from the North
Carolina Public Library Film Service Catalog of 16mm films, 1972
