The Modern Woman magazine was a publication featuring articles on domestic work, targeted towards an audience of housewives. The magazine features advertisements for new household appliances and cosmetics. Many of the articles in this issue contain recipes to be made within the home. These recipes were used by Ruby DeBerry on menus in DeBerry's Colonial Dining Room.
