This film highlights the "Turning Point Campaign for Queens College," an effort by Queens to revitalize the college. This film begins with an introduction by Ina [?], followed by a 15-minute segment of a 30-minute broadcast titled "Queens College: A New Dimension" created by WBTV and hosted by Lester Strong. After the WBTV segment, Dr. Billy O. Wireman (President) speaks on behalf of Queens College about what the institution has to offer. Dr. Wireman speaks to the New College created by Queens to serve working adults who wish to return to school to earn a degree. He also mentions Quill, a new lifelong learning non-degree program, and the new Bachelor of Nursing program. Additionally, Dr. Wireman discusses the creations of the President's Church Cabinet. Bill Lee, President of Duke Power and a Trustee of Queens, also speaks to the strengths of Queens. Closing remarks are made by Ina Hughes. The portions of the film recorded by Queens were created approximately 18 months after the WBTV special aired. "A byron color production."
