Photograph of a photograph, known as copy work. The original photograph was possibly taken circa 1920. The original photograph is of the Square in Lexington, NC. Primary view includes the intersection of Center and Main streets, looking down South Main Street. Content includes the Confederate Monument (erected by the Daughters of the Confederacy in 1905, relocated from the center of the Square to the southeast quadrant in 1950), the Davidson County Courthouse (built 1856-1858), the Economic Development Building, businesses, pedestrians, and Model T Fords. Inscription on the back of the photo: "24"x36"".
