Zeb Harrington, former manager of the Sanford Spinners during their time as both a semi-pro and profession baseball team, has settled into semi-retirement on a family farm between Corinth and Brickhaven in Chatham County. Here, Zeb stands with a prize Aberdeen-Angus registered bull and calf. This photo appeared with several others in a feature page on the Harrington family, deemed the "Farm Family of the Month" in December 1953. This photo by Luman Moore for The Sanford Herald appeared in the December 30, 1953 edition of the Herald on page 11.
