Descriptions of the grand annual communication of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina held in the Masonic Hall in Raleigh from December 5 to December 9, 1859, including names of those present at each meeting, a report from the Board of Trustees of St. John's College, a Form of Record for the ordinary transactions of a Masonic Lodge, an accounting of dues, an annexed statement of amounts received from subordinate lodges in advance, a list of all of the lodges under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge, a list of the trustees of St. John's College, returns from each subordinate lodge, and an appendix containing a report from the Committee on Foreign Correspondence.
