Descriptions of the grand annual communication of the Grand Lodge of North Carolina held in the Masonic Hall in Raleigh from December 3 to December 7, 1855, including names of those present at each meeting, an accounting of dues, a list of all of the lodges under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge, returns from each subordinate lodge, a list of Grand Lodges in correspondence with the Grand Lodge of North Carolina, and an accounting of the six principal officers from 1789 to 1855.
