Description

Professor Herman G. Cooke not only served the institution as a professor of biology but he was the guardian angel of hundreds of student athlete who found paid work in his lab and benefitted from his academic oversight in their studies. Cooke frequently went on the road with athletic teams to assist the managers as well as ensure that homework assignments were completed.
