Rockingham County Sheriff Carl Axsom, Deputy Joe Searcy and Deputy C. W. Blackwell captured 126 gallons of bootleg whiskey at the home of Joe Finley off Highway 14 on Corn Jug Road. Finley was tried, fined $250.00 and placed under two years suspended sentence.
