Rectangular; vertical display; silk on unusually fine linen; cross-stitched uppercase alphabet over numbers over lowercase alphabet over four groups of three uppercase letters over "Remember thy Creator/ in the Days of thy youth" with baskets or crowns over "Elizabeth Stevens 1801" with crown, ship, and two hearts; outer border stitched in brown; hemmed on all four sides; colors faded; some loss of embroidery thread; linen is in very good condition, no holes.
