Description
Members of the Tri City United Bands pose before
the "Log House" in Leaksville/Spray (now Eden), North Carolina. The
Log House, or Clubhouse, was first the home of prominent banker
George W. Fraker and his family, and later was used as housing for
visitors doing business with Carolina Cotton & Woolen Mills. It
burned to the ground on May 16, 1920. Back of the photo reads,
"Property of Hurley Vestal taken on 9 day of Nov. 1919. I was at
this time 26 years old."
