Description

As the train approaches the railroad station in Reidsville, NC, shoppers are visible on the sidewalks in front of businesses on Market St. On the left, a horse and buggy travel down the dirt street in front of the Old North State Tobacco Factory. The factory was destroyed by fire on December 24, 1917. Printed on the front of the photograph, "No. 44 Approaching the Station, Reidsville, N.C." From a series of photographs taken by Allen Willis between 1909 and 1911.
