Mrs. Edna Walker Stadler and Mr. David Thomas Stadler Sr. owned and operated a family store, located just southeast of Reidsville, NC in the Williamsburg township. The store operated from the 1930s to the 1960s. It was both a business and a community meeting place. Mr. Stadler sold on account; and during the Great Depression, he bartered with customers who had no money.
