The famous Firestone Singing Color Fountains formed a beautiful background for the banquet. Grover Whalen, President of the New York World's Fair, Leonard K. Firestone, who acted as host, and many other prominent adults in the field of agriculture spoke during the program. Bronze medallions were awarded to all of the Firestone Champion Farmers in recognition if their distinguished services to agriculture."
