Transcription: Mrs. Elmer Miller Moretz of Lenoir was kind enough to loan us these snapshots made on the northeast corner of King and Water streets - today's site of the Singer Sewing Center. Standing in front of the old Gulf Station/Mill End Remnants are Elmer Moretz, JoAnne Jones Moretz (hands on hips), the late Stella Jones and Brenda Jones Gragg.
