On back: This is a picture of the A.M. (Mim) and Catherine (Kat) family home built during the turn of the century. The town got it's name from this family who sold land for the railroad and later in exchange for $1.00 sold approximately 45 acres to the town where now most of our business district is located. This home was noted to be one of the finest homes between Smithfield and Fayetteville.
