Description

Short film about the establishment of the Morehead Awards, named for John Motley Morehead III. The Morehead Awards provides merit-based scholarships to students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is now known as the Morehead-Cain Scholars Program. The name changed to Morehead-Cain in 2007 to include recognition of the Gordon and Mary Cain Foundation. Alternative title: Morehead Foundation.
